Women’s Major League Indoor Soccer Announces 2025–26 Regular Season Awards

Chicago, Illinois – April 17, 2026 – The Women’s Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS), which recently completed its second season, has announced its 2025–26 regular season award winners.

The WMLIS featured eight teams across two conferences this season.

The East Conference included the New Jersey Angels, Chicago Mustangs, Fort Wayne Summit City Sentinels, and Kalamazoo Zoo City. 

The West Conference featured the Phoenix Pulse, Salt Lake City Utah Uprising, New Mexico Lightning, and Las Vegas Turf Monsters.

Salt Lake City was crowned regular-season champions, finishing with a 10–0 record in its inaugural WMLIS season.

Thomas Campbell was named Coach of the Year after leading Salt Lake City to an undefeated season and the WMLIS Championship.

Dominique Estrada from Salt Lake City earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, recording 18 goals and 6 assists for a total of 24 points across 10 games.

McKenzie Evans-Tostado from Salt Lake City delivered a historic season, earning Most Valuable Player (MVP), Golden Boot (most goals), Playmaker Award (most assists), and Top Scorer (most points). In 10 games played, Evans-Tostado tallied 20 goals, 12 assists, and 32 points.

Carmen Sweigard from Ft. Wayne won Goalkeeper of the Year honors with 164 saves across nine games played.

Salt Lake City capped off its season by winning the WMLIS Championship, defeating the reigning champion Chicago Mustangs.
