MLIS OWNERS MEETING HEADS TO LAS VEGAS NEXT WEEK
(Las Vegas, Nev.) – The Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) and Women's Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS) owners will convene in Las Vegas, Nev., June 24 to June 26 for the annual League Owners Meeting.
Team owners will gather to discuss key topics essential to the league’s continued growth, including league standards, rules and regulations, player registration processes, scheduling, off-field strategies and more. The meeting will serve as a platform for collaboration and strategic planning to enhance the future of indoor soccer.
MLIS Commissioner Bernie Lilavois emphasized the importance of this gathering, stating, "This annual gathering is essential to shaping the future of MLIS. As we continue to grow, it's important that our owners come together to refine our league’s standards and improve player and fan experience."
Since the off-season, which concluded with the Amarillo Bombers (Amarillo, Texas) securing the MLIS championship and the Chicago Mustangs (Chicago, Ill.) claiming the WMLIS title, the league has continued to expand its footprint with the addition of Bridge City FC of Pittsburgh and Rockford Thunder of Illinois.
